Three projects selected for the 2020-2021 WAF awards!

In recent weeks we have known that three of our projects have been shortlisted for the WAF 2020-2021 Awards, which will take place this coming December in Lisbon.

The World Architecture Festival (WAF) is an annual festival and awards ceremony, one of the most prestigious events dedicated to the architecture industry.

Among those shortlisted projects is the Doctors Without Borders Headquarters, in the Renovating category, a project completed in 2019 that transforms an obsolete industrial building located in the 22@ techonological district in Barcelona, promoting functional, biophilic spaces designed for people.

Two projects have also been selected in the Landscape in nature category: the Pedestrian Connection between Barcelona and Montcada i Reixac, an example of a paradigm shift in urban mobility towards the door-to-door, and the Forest Path in the Roques Blanques Cemetery, an innovative landscape intervention for a new ephemeral burial model.
