Three finalist projects in the XV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism.
This year 2021 we have participated in the XV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism which in this edition revolves around the subject matter “Empty Spain, full Spain. Conciliation strategies”.
The XV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism proposes to be the place of reflection on the conciliation capacities that architecture and urbanism can have with respect to the two territorial realities that exist in the country; a dense, dynamic and populated Spain and another with less density, more invariable and uninhabited that makes up a country that is within another.
A few weeks ago we learned that three of our projects were finalists: the Pedestrian connection between Barcelona and Montcada, the Scenic Path along Igualada’s old gypsum mines and the Insect Hotel.
These are three interventions that are conceived from a landscape perspective, which start from the understanding of the environment and its context and which project quality spaces that are healthy for people and for the biosphere.
