A large parking esplanade is transformed into the new Central Park of the municipality, integrating in turn the modernist gardens of the Asilo Suris.
The design proposes the maintaining and enhancing of the current vegetation and the existing path structure is integrated with the new open perimeter of the square. The intention of the proposal is to make a careful reading of the site in order to make the conservation of the existing garden viable. This new public space has several areas and uses and the old laundry buildings are also being rehabilitated as a restaurant and leisure area.
