Casa Moratiel featured on TV3
On Tuesday, 2 June, Casa Moratiel was featured in a report broadcast on TV3’s Telenotícies Vespre, which recognises the house as one of the foremost examples of Rationalist and Modern architecture in Catalonia.
It highlights the public opening of the house through the exhibition exposición “Les set vides de la Casa Moratiel” and focuses on the restoration and revitalisation process undertaken by Batlleiroig. Conceived to preserve the property’s architectural and heritage significance while adapting it to new cultural uses, the intervention seeks to connect the building with the present and ensure its relevance for future generations.
The report, by journalist Carolina Rosich, includes contributions from Joan Roig and Joan Batlle, partners at Batlleiroig and curators of the exhibition, as well as Enric Batlle. Together, they offer insight into the restoration process and discuss the key concepts underpinning the exhibition project.
It also features José Manuel Ferrater, author of the visual essay on the house, which complements the exhibition through a temporary photographic installation integrated within the building.
