T3 Diagonal Mar offices have been awarded at WAF 2025
Batlleiroig has been recognized at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025, one of the most prestigious events in international architecture, by winning the award in the “Completed Buildings – Offices” category with the T3 Diagonal Mar project.
Located in Barcelona, this building represents a new generation of corporate spaces that combine innovation, sustainability, and well-being. Its design focuses on flexible layouts, energy efficiency, and urban integration, creating an environment that fosters productivity and connection with the city.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the project is the extensive use of timber, which earned it a special mention in the “Best Use of Timber” award. This decision not only brings warmth and spatial quality but also reflects Batlleiroig’s strategy to reduce carbon footprint and promote renewable, environmentally responsible materials in construction.
Timber, along with other sustainable solutions implemented in T3 Diagonal Mar, demonstrates our commitment to circular economy principles, resource optimization, and the creation of buildings that contribute to a more responsible future.
In addition, Batlleiroig had a strong presence at WAF 2025 with other finalist projects in different categories:
- Badajoz 97 Offices, a new concept of workspace in Barcelona.
- New building for the Barcelona Polo Club, blending tradition and modernity.
- Drop by Drop, an innovative proposal for water management.
- Osona Viewpoint Network, connecting landscape and architecture across the territory.
With this double recognition and the presence of five more projects at WAF, Batlleiroig reaffirms its vision: to design architecture that inspires, engages with the city, and places sustainability at the heart of the creative process.
