Pedestrian walkway in Igualada
New access gate and viewpoint that brings Vallbona Park closer to the city center.
The proposal establishes the landscape goal, through the design of the road, to clean up the front of the bank of the river, turning it into an urban façade of Ripollet, which currently is the back of the city where peri-urban uses and low added value accumulate.
The Ripoll border road is configured as a variant of the B-141 road, basically in terms of industrial traffic since it articulates and cleans all sectors of the left bank with respect to the Ripoll River.
The purpose of this road is to channel general transit traffic in industrial estates. This pathway is the backbone of these tissues. It will also function as a variant of the B-141 as long as the northern variant of Ripollet is not completed.
The recovery of the current B-141 road is proposed, as it passes through the center of Ripollet, as a structuring urban road of the city, capable of hosting the most qualified and requalifying central activities.
The reserves set in the P.G.M. in this way we are defined by different sections. The first section, between the B-141 road and the Ripoll river, includes land classified by the P.G.M. as a road, between land classified as urban park and equipment. In the design of the road, the section of the road will be considered exclusive.
The next section, in front of Can Massacs, already includes a strip of an an urban park, which follows the entire length of its route along the edge of the river. The design of the road will integrate this linear element of the urban park, treating them as a whole, as well as resolving the contact with the industrial front.
