LUXA offices in Barcelona

The building is located in Barcelona´s 22@ district. This district develops throughout the characteristic Eixample city blocks renovation, promoting innovation, technology, and business. The building is located on the corner of Tánger and Badajoz streets inside Pons Factory city block (Tanger St, Ciudad de Granada St., Sancho de Ávila St. and Badajoz St.). The factory is completely refurbished throughout new green space and landscape complementing the actual urban condition.

LUXA

The building consists of two independent volumes surrounding a new plaza projected to be on the corner of Tanger St. and Badajoz St., generating an amplitude feeling and enforcing the two building overview as well as both their accesses. The silver building has a surface area of 9920 m² while the gold building has a surface area of 6494 m². A common basement links both buildings, communicating its foyer entrances. Both buildings share a three-level underground car park which occupies the entire plot surface. The car park provides space for bicycles, motorcycles, and cars (258 spaces).

Both towers are the same height (ground level plus 8 levels) with 3.84 m height in between slabs, which results in 2.70 m interior height. A curtain wall is used to resolve the façade. Several vertical reflecting elements on the facade provide high solar protection, allowing, at the same time, total visibility from the interior of the building.

The office floors of each of the buildings have four exterior facades and a very optimal composition that allows various types of subdivision. All the materials chosen are of high quality, giving the building a very high level of equipment and comfort, creating an atmosphere of modernity and achieving a high energy rating that has allowed us to obtain the LEED GOLD sustainable construction seal.
