The Port Fòrum complex is located on a privileged site inside Barcelona: it will make up the new façade towards the sea at Port Fòrum, a newly developed area with outstanding connectivity and views towards the Mediterranean Sea.

Port Fòrum dwellings

The complex, with a surface area of ​​24,200 m² and 143 dwellings, is organized into two independent volumes of PB + 16, linked by a common basement on the ground floor and by a walkway to the roof. It is in these spaces of connection between volumes where the community areas of the building are located: gourmet room, children’s area, chillout area, and infinity pool from where you can enjoy privileged views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea.

The buildings have been designed to allow maximum flexibility and the conjunction of different types of 1,2,3,4 and 5-bedroom dwellings. Under a common scheme, in which the plants are organized around a central nucleus where the humid areas of the houses and the installation steps are concentrated. The building is structured in such a way that the number of dwellings per landing progressively reduces on the higher floors, giving rise to larger dwellings.

The complex combines opaque facades where vertical voids predominate that contribute to the slenderness of the building, with terraced facades that enjoy views of Barcelona and the Sea and give the building a unique image. An industrialized façade system based on white architectural concrete panels has been chosen, which has made it possible to combine design, greater control in execution and a reduction in construction time.

The buildings have been designed under strict parameters of sustainability and energy saving, such as the improvement of the thermal envelope, the incorporation of highly efficient air conditioning systems thanks to the connection to the district’s urban heat and cold network –Districlima-, systems dual-flow vents or LED lighting. The building has obtained the maximum energy rating: A.
