The shortlisted projects that will compete for the WAF 2022 awards have been made public, among which are three of our projects.
In the Offices category, the Zara.com headquarters in Arteixo has been selected, a sober, balanced and flexible building for the Inditex complex, committed to state-of-the-art technological solutions aimed at energy self-sufficiency.
The green coverage of the Ronda de Dalt in Barcelona competes for the award in the “Landscape in an urban environment” category. It is a new public space on the coverage of the Ronda de Dalt that, thanks to a large productive wooden pergola, transforms the place into a biodiverse climatic refuge.
Lastly, the ongoing project for the EUROPA-CENTER HIT office complex in Sant Cugat del Vallès is vying for the WAF “Future Projects” award.
The World Architecture Festival (WAF) is the annual event that brings together numerous architects from around the world and that awards the WAF Awards to promote and disseminate architectural excellence internationally. The winning projects will be announced on the first weekend of December, during the celebration of this edition of the festival in Lisbon.
