The Tarragona Demarcation of the College of Architects of Catalonia has announced the first selection phase of the XII Tarragona Architecture Exhibition, Alejandro de la Sota Biennial, where the Recovery and improvement of the Boca de la Mina promenade in Reus has been selected.
The objective of this award is to distinguish the most significant works that have been built in the 2019-2020 biennium in the territory of the Demarcation (regions of Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and the Tarragonès).
The Boca de la Mina project recovers an emblematic walk in Reus, promoting new uses and making it accessible to all. A respectful action with the collective memory of this historical walk that recovers its full functionality, improves its accessibility, solves its drainage problems and safeguards the centenary tree complex.

On Friday, November 19, the awards ceremony will take place, where the Jury’s verdict will be revealed with the finalists and winning works.
