The Infra Journal magazine travels to Barcelona, Spain, to meet Enric Batlle Durany, a co-founder of the studio batlleiroig. The main focus of the interview is mobility, urban planning and sustainability, applied to the studio’s projects – as is the case of the Roques Blanques Cemetery – as well as the concept of ‘travel’, linked to his experience and working life.

As explained in the article, traveling, for an architect, is above all a visual experience: the landscapes and cities one visits must strike the personal imagination, impressing for their contrasts and the discoveries they represent. And destinations – be they travel destinations or architectural redevelopments – are always reached in the same way: step by step or, according to Batlle Durany, drop by drop.

The Passenger is a collection of stories allowing us to investigate reality from different points of view. Life and professional experiences. Lots of stories with different voices, to explore, gain insights, understand and, at times, be inspired.
