The Autonomic Colleges and Councils have announced the first selection of 184 proposals that pass the first cut of the CSCAE Architecture Awards 2021, among which is the Forest Path project, in the category of landscape and public space.
This intervention based on respect and conservation of the environment in the natural setting of the Collserola park is part of the latest expansion of the Roques Blanques cemetery, inaugurated in 1985 with the recovery of the Can Tintorer farmhouse and the first group, corresponding to one of the first projects carried out by Batlleiroig.
Being part of this first territorial selection carried out by the COAC represents a new recognition for the Forest Path, which since its implementation has received numerous awards such as the Catalunya Construcció Award in the Innovation in the Construction category or the WAF Award in the Landscape in nature category.
The jury and the expert committees will choose 18 finalists who will be announced at a gala next July. This act of celebration will close the first edition of the Architecture Awards, a recognition of the work of all professional architects, or those related to architecture, who contribute to creating a fairer and more egalitarian society.
