THE CEMETERY OF ROQUES BLANQUES, DESIGNED BY BATLLEIROIG, CHOSEN BY THE MOURNING AND LOSSES GROUP TO MAKE A TRAINING AND WORK SESSION
At the beginning of October, the Mourning and Losses Group of the Official College of Psychology of Catalonia participated in a guided visit at the Roques Blanques Cemetery and the “Forest Road”, both designed by Batlleiroig. The group showed interest in these facilities because they present relevant spaces related to the grieving and loss processes, the topics on which their main activity revolves.
Two moments of the visit to the Cemetery of Roques Blanques, on October 6th, with the Mourning and Losses Group, guided by Livia Valentini, from Batlleiroig.
The Mourning and Losses Group of the COPC (Official College of Psychology of Catalonia) is a group of training and dissemination about the grieving and loss processes, and on October 6th, it wanted to know deeply the Metropolitan Cemetery of Roques Blanques, in El Papiol (Barcelona), designed by Batlleiroig, guided by one of the landscape architects of the team, Livia Valentini.
The group also had the opportunity to visit specific areas of the cemetery such as the ‘Forest Road’ (Catalunya Construcció Award 2018 for the Innovation in Construction), the ‘Calm Forest’ or the ‘Rest Garden’, and took the chance to make one of its monthly meetings in the venue.
