A group of scientists have developed an online questionnaire to obtain data on the feeling that cyclists have when it comes to cycling with the different bike lanes found in Barcelona.
The cycling connection between Barcelona and Esplugues de Llobregat, a project carried out by the Batlleiroig architecture studio, was one of the best evaluated in this survey.
They have taken into account parameters such as safety, the density of people in the streets, and the feeling of moving around the city, all this developed by the Institute of Science and Environmental Technology (ICTA) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Three of the projects planned in Barcelona by Batlle i Roig Arquitectura will open their doors this week-end, 27 and 28 October, as part of 48h Open House BCN Festival, considered the main date between the architecture and Barcelona: the El Fil Nursery, the building of the National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC in Spanish) and the Cycling and pedestrian connection between Barcelona and Esplugues de Llobregat
This weekend, the 48h Open House BCN Festival is going to offer two open days in more than 200 buildings in Barcelona of all shapes, types and sizes, thanks to the initiative of 48h Open House Barcelona association. Occasionally, some guided visits will be offered.
