THE DOMINIONS OF THE GARDEN
ALL LANDSCAPE SCALES: FROM GARDEN TO INFRASTRUCTURE
It seems inconsistent to talk about gardens as a generic typology, because each model of garden has its own typology. However, we have always believed that some of the specific values of gardens recur beyond the model and that they enable us to work right from the typology as an instrument of the project. From our point of view, those values are the following: topography, hydraulics, vegetation and itineraries. Starting from these concepts, we can address very different programmes, even those that are apparently very far from the idea of a garden. We are quite sure that they will be carried out with the biggest rationality and also with a great sense of respect for the environment where they are implemented.
By moving around fields, we convert our projects into real gardens.
