ENRIC BATLLE WILL PARTICIPATE IN A ROUND TABLE ON JUNE 7th TO RETHINK “THE LIMITS OF BARCELONA” IN THE CIRCLE OF ECONOMY
The Circle of Economy and Barcelona Global organize the cycle of conferences “Pensar Barcelona” (Thinking Barcelona), a series of sessions where professionals from different sectors of the city debate on what role the Catalan capital should acquire, in a world where cities are the main driving forces of change, progress, innovation and development. On June 7th, Enric Batlle will be one of the guests in the next session of this cycle, under the title “The limits of Barcelona”.
Enric Batlle, founding partner of Batlleiroig, will join the round table “The limits of Barcelona” together with Núria Marín, mayor of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Oriol Nel·lo, geographer and professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and with the moderation of the lawyer Lluís Recoder, next June 7th, at 7.00 pm, at the Circle of Economy of Barcelona (Provença St, 298).
The cycle “Thinking Barcelona” aims to share thoughts and agendas in order to help the city make a global leap. For this same purpose, the two organizers, the Circle of Economy and Barcelona Global, have been working for years. The first one has been committed to the city since its inception, in the 50s, living very different conjunctures, from the recession of the 50s to the splendor of the 1992 Olympic Games, a key event in the history of the city and its international projection. On the other hand, Barcelona Global, founded in 2012, has as its mission making Barcelona one of the best cities in the world for talent and economic activity through the commitment and mainstreaming of the entity’s partners, among them, Batlleiroig.
