Enric Batlle and Joan Roig, jury of the AJAC XII Awards
This year the AJAC AWARDS reach their twelfth edition after 24 years of history. Once again with the aim of showing the potential of the work of young architects.
The works will be valued by a jury of national and international prestige, among which are the Founding Partners of Batlleiroig. Enric Batlle will participate as a jury in the URBAN PLANNING / LANDSCAPING category and Joan Roig will participate as a jury in the NEW CONSTRUCTION / REHABILITATION category.
The AJAC Awards was created in 1996 by the Young Architects of Catalonia Association (In Catalan AJAC) with the purpose of showing society the high potential and quality of young architects work; as well as providing these emerging professionals a good spread of their work.
The AJAC Awards are held biannually, alternating its official announcement with a second year in which the Association is dedicated to disseminating the winners by publishing a book containing all the winning projects and a traveling exhibition accompanied by multiple lectures called Inexperiences, where each winner has the opportunity to present their work to the audience in order to generate a debate between speakers and listeners.
